Did you know that the Wilson population is doing great things with their new multimedia computer equipment? (Both the new laptops in the lab and the smartboards in the classrooms.) Middle School used the integrated cameras in the laptops to make posters of the lab rules including their smiling faces. Kindergarten used the integrate microphones to record their voices as they taught each other about appropriate school behavior. Fun was had by all, (and some learning as well!)
Congratulations to the Wilson School on it's centennial. Back to school night yesterday evening was so terrific - we learned about so many wonderful things that our son is doing. The family chapel this morning was a real treat - so many fresh faces! Twenty-one new families shows that the school is not only surviving at this ripe old age but is thriving. My son has been at Wilson since Pre-K and is now in second grade - he (as well as his parents) could not be happier with the quality education he is receiving. Bravo!
